Terms of service
Rules for using our website, booking tastings, and purchasing gift experiences.
Last updated: 30 March 2026
Agreement
By accessing taste-related services and this website operated by CharityKitchen Media Pty Ltd (“CharityKitchen”, “we”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our site or services. Our Privacy policy explains how we handle personal data.
Services
CharityKitchen arranges and promotes fine-dining tastings, chef-led events, and related experiences with partner venues. We describe experiences in good faith; final menus, timing, or minor details may change at the venue’s discretion for operational or seasonal reasons. We will notify you of material changes where reasonably possible.
Bookings and payment
When you book or purchase, you enter a contract subject to these terms and any confirmation we or our partners send you. Prices are as quoted at checkout unless stated otherwise. You must provide accurate contact details. Failure to arrive on time or comply with venue dress codes or house rules may result in refusal of entry without refund, where permitted by law.
Cancellations and refunds
Cancellation windows and fees depend on the specific experience and are shown at booking or in your confirmation. Gift cards and vouchers are subject to their stated validity and exclusions. Statutory rights for consumers in Australia under the Australian Consumer Law are not excluded where applicable.
Website use
You may not misuse the site (including scraping, introducing malware, or attempting unauthorised access). Content on this site is owned by CharityKitchen or its licensors. You may not copy or redistribute it for commercial use without permission.
Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, our total liability arising from your use of the website or a booking is limited to the amount you paid us for that booking in the twelve months before the claim, except where a different cap applies under mandatory law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales and the Commonwealth of Australia.
Changes
We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Material changes to booked services will be communicated in line with your statutory rights.
